What is the cost of SelfSat antenna? What type of satellite channels subscription? Any other condition need?
The cost for SelfSat antenna is RM2499 nett. This does not include installation fee. Price of the installation will depend on your car make and type. You would need to subscribe to Astro in order to receive the channels. The channels available are same as your home Astro channels subscription
Does this product have warranty and for how long?
Yes, 1 year warranty for parts and labour
Is this product legal?
Yes, there is no law against using this product in vehicles to date. Furthermore, SIRIM has given the Typed Approval and has issued the permit (AP) to import this product into Malaysia.
Do you need to get approval from Astro to use this product?
No, this product is an accessory/gadget to receive satellite TV signals only. As long you have an approved decoder and an active Astro subscriber, you are free to view the Astro TV in your vehicle.
Are consumer bounded by Astro subscription’s terms and conditions when installed in their vehicles?
Yes, the terms and conditions still prevail.
Is Astro aware of this product?
Yes, as an industry player they are aware such product are available in the market but they are not involved in the marketing, sales and distribution of this product.
Can Astro stop consumer from viewing Astro TV in vehicles?
No, as long you have an approved decoder and an active/paying Astro subscriber, you are free to view the Astro TV in your vehicle.
Will the wiring of the product affects the vehicle wiring system?
No, as long as the installation of the product is carried out by our approved installer. Our product installation is no different to installation of other accessories in car (e.g. TV Monitor, DVD player, etc).

What is SelfSat satellite TV antenna?
SelfSat Satellite TV antenna is a motion antenna system that receives LIVE satellite TV channels to vehicles.
Besides SelfSat satellite TV antennas, any other procedure for installation?
You will need to install Astro decoder, Power Inverter, AV systems to complete the installation.
How does SelfSat satellite TV antenna work?
Selfsat antenna receive Astro channels, therefore any subscribed program that is in Astro is receivable via our antenna.
Can SelfSat satellite TV antenna receive Astro channels worldwide?
No, only available in Peninsula Malaysia.
Will there be interruption with Satellite signal?
Yes, SelfSat satellite TV antennas require a direct line of sight from satellite without any blockages. Any blockage of a building, tunnel or even a tree while traveling, the signal will be lost temporary.
Does the weather affect SelfSat satellite TV antenna communication?
Yes, Rain or cloudiness will affect signal received. The antenna works exactly the same as Astro residential antenna.
How long is the warranty period?
A one year warranty from the purchased date. During the warranty period, SelfSat will replaced the broken unit with a brand new one without any query.
Is there available easy payment for this SelfSat satellite TV antenna?

When we drive, will that SelfSat satellite antenna fly out?
This won’t be happen as the magnetic disk of the SelfSat antenna is designed to hold the roof of car while driving up to 250km/hours
